Καραμανλής (θείος* Αυτός μας έβαλε στην Ε.Ε.), όχι μιά φορά τόνισε πώς η ένταξη της Ελλάδας στην ΕΟΚ θα επηρεάσει βαθύτατα το μέλλον του 'Εθνους.  Είδαμε τούς λόγους που αυτή τη στιγμή επενεργούν έτσι που να υπερισχύει η επιλογή της ένταξης.  Δεν μπορούμε να γνωρίζουμε από προηγούμενα πόσο θα μεγαλώσουν τα αποικιακά κέρδη του ελληνικού καπιταλισμού, χάρη στην ένταξη στην ΕΟΚ, ούτε ποιό μερτικό θα παραχωρηθεί στις διάφορες κοινωνικές ομάδες και τάξεις του τόπου.  Μα ούτε καί είναι σωστό να σταθούμε σε τέτοια θέματα που πηγάζουν από τον καπιταλιστικό τρόπο σκέψης και ζωής (χοντροκομμένη εκχυδοποιημένη υλιστική αντίληψη για τις αξίες της ζωής).  ''Θα γίνουμε περισσότερο παχύσαρκοι και παχύδερμοι ή όχι'', αυτό δεν είναι κάτι πού σχετίζεται με το εθνικό συμφέρον και το εθνικό μέλλον του Ελληνισμού.
