This challenging and thought provoking documentary is focused on all aspects of the controversial F-word “FUCK”. The documentary examines how this word is impacting our world today. There are debates regarding the use of
this word and it clearly shows the negative and arrogant attitude of the conservative public towards free speech and how their way of thinking is trapped in some out of date moral and ethic rules of their imaginary needs. We hear again the reactionary opinion of many advocates who oppose the use of the word “fuck”. Although ”dirty language” can be irrelevant under specific circumstances, the conservative viewers do not try to approach a right solution. Neither liberal viewers seem to have a solution as they seem to fall on a similar trap of “not being old fashioned” and follow the wave. What do I mean by this? What sex on stage has to do with any serious anti-establishment action?Isn’t it an attempt from all the big profit makers to commercialise people’s reactions? Does that threaten the conservative status quo or just it simply contributes to a further mass stupification? Does it attack the root of the problem, such like hierarchy, authority and lack of education? Definitely not!!!The documentary also examines the history of “fuck”. Besides some notable linguists, artists, musicians, filmmakers, authors, politicians, and other media personalities there are some interesting clips from George Carlin, and Lenny Bruce. As far as the meaningless porn stars… I call them meaningless people because I don’t consider their opinion as a radical anti-establishment one as long as these individuals are a part of the huge exploitation industry, the sex industry. In overall, it is a considerable light, easy to watch, documentary,which could definitely challenge somebody to reconsider about the what so called “morality” – the imaginary myth -, reject his/her puritan medieval beliefs and adopt a wider view for things that happen in life.
