Monet- Debussy - a perfect match

Claude Monet (1840-1926) was a founder of French impressionist painting, and the most consistent and prolific practitioner of the movement's philosophy of expressing one's perceptions before nature, especially as applied to landscape painting. The term Impressionism is derived from the title of his painting Impression, Sunrise.

Claude Debussy (1862-1918) was a French composer. He is considered one of the most prominent figures working within the field of Impressionist music. He was also a central figure in European music at the turn of the twentieth century. His music is noted for its sensory component and how it is not often formed around one key or pitch.
